Tower Star Trails

As seen on National Geographic News in span of three hours stars trails above remains of a historic tower in Alborz Mountains of Iran. There is a possible connection between such towers and old time astronomers in Iran. Some of these towers are possibly used as accurate calendar monuments. © Babak Tafreshi
