Thin Crescent Moon and Venus

From the photographer: “Before I went to my hometown for Christmas, I had already planned to visit Nafplio in order to see and capture this amazing scenery. The thin (one-day) crescent moon and Venus were setting behind the water castle of Bourtzi, liaising with the amazing colours of the nautical twilight (after sunset). The scene was changing rapidly with the clouds going back and forth and blocking one time the moon and the other Venus in turn. Thankfully, after a couple of shots, there were both captured in one single exposure. Move the slider on image to show/hide labels.”
