From the photographer: “The humidity is well-known for astrophotographers, because is one of our worst enemies, but in this case the light pollution of the small village combined with the high humidity and the low temperatures made it possible to see this curious effect of lighting columns in the atmosphere. The small village of Saldes have a 300 population and it is located on 1215m altitude in the base of Pedraforca (2506m altitude) that is one of the most emblematic mountains of Catalonia, Spain.
