From the photographer: “The setting Milky Way lies next to Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa. Planet Mars is visible just above the horizon and is dimmed by atmospheric refraction. Photographed in Amboseli National Park, Kajiado County, southern Kenya.
