Description

A crystal clear night of March in Iceland. This single exposure of 20 minutes was enough to show our constantly rotating planet. The camera on a fixed tripod records this as star trails around the north celestial pole (top), marked by the North Star or Polaris. This is the direction of the Earth rotation axis. On Earth, is one of the 10,000 waterfalls listed in Iceland.
