The Mystery of the Universe
Description
From the photographer: “This ancient building is called Fornace Penna. It was an old brick factory destroyed during the night of January 26, 1924, due to an arson that destroyed it in a few hours. Behind this beautiful historic wreck is the Milky Way; the star factory (our galaxy). This contrast between the brick factory and the star factory tells of how much man and his activities are actually closely linked with the cosmos and its magnificence. After all, all existing elements, but also ourselves, are made of the same matter as the stars.”
