The Golden Gate at Night
Description
Star trails above the Golden Gate bridge. The photo-sequence of ~ 1000 frames taken during one and half hours began in the evening twilight and pointing towards the north with Polaris, the North Star, marking the north celestial pole at top. The world-famous bridge is spanning the Golden Gate strait, the channel between San Francisco Bay and the Pacific Ocean. It has been declared one of the Wonders of the Modern World by the American Society of Civil Engineers. Opened in 1937, it is possibly the most photographed bridge in the world. © Ajay & Neelam Talwar
