From the photographer: “A beautiful night sky with an interesting phenomenon. A luminous object similar to a bright meteor in a long display of 180 seconds in the sky. The object was a retired Russian satellite SL-4 R/B No. 42972, which reentered Earth atmosphere and began to burn at an altitude of 116 km from the ground.
This photo is taken on the coast of Iran in Hormozgan province. A 15 sec exposure at ISO 3200. Click the second photo for another image.”
