Temporary Oservatory from the Magic Bus

From the photographer: “Anchored in the core of the Cordillera de la Sal lies the Magic Bus, a metal skeleton abandoned, watching time pass by. Its interior bears carvings of a species that delights in leaving its mark on every surface it finds.

From within, I observe the dazzling night of an intense moon, with the Martian landscape bathed in silver light. Silence is deep and the cold bites sharply. Just before dawn, the Moon slips below the horizon, and darkness blankets the terrain. The night takes over the sky, and all the stars ignite in unison.”
