From the photographer: “Tehran as a metropolis has heavy light pollution and people rarely can see starry sky because of light and air pollution. This photo illustrates star trail in spite of the light pollution in Tehran. So I had waited about six months for suitable condition to capture it.

Technical details: this photo was created by combining 243 photos (14 sec exposure for each one) for sky and 6 photos for foreground without moving the camera(123 sec exposure for each one). ISO: 320″
