Description

From the photographer: “The Belchen (1,414 m) is the second highest mountain in the Black Forest in south-west Germany. From there, on a clear day, you have a fantastic view as far as the Vosges mountains and the Alps. But it is also an ideal place for observing the starry sky at night. The huge summit cross in front of the band of the Milky Way gives the place an almost religious feel.”
