Startrails Over Ottobeuren Abbey

From the photographer: “Fading out startrails over the German escorial which is located in the south of Germany. In front of the image is a lovely static water tank. The church has its 250th anniversary this year, while the monastery is over 1250 years old. Those static water reservoirs were used in ancient times, for storing water in case of a fire emergency. So the pond is expected to be as old as the abbey itself.
