Description

From the photographer: “Farid al-Din Attar Neishabouri is one of the famous Iranian mystics and poets of Persian literature at 12 century AD. He is considered one of the most prolific Iranian poets, and according to mystics, he had a high rank in the field of mysticism

Mohammad Ghafari, known as Kamal al-Mulk, from Kashan, is the most famous and greatest contemporary Iranian painter who left many works and his grave is in Neishabur.

Hoshang Sihon, one of the famous Iranian architects, designed the tomb of Kamal al-Mulk in Neishabur. The structure of this tomb is the height of creativity and a combination of contemporary and traditional Iranian architecture, which includes six concave porches with ten arches. Geometry plays a prominent role in the architectural design of this tomb, like the tomb of Hakim Omar Khayyam.

I had gained a lot of peace from being in Khayyam garden, so in the afternoon I went to the tombs of Attar Nishaburi and Kamal al-Mulk, many families had spread carpets outside the tombs yard and they were happily spending the evening of Adina day, peddlers  sold toys and food. I was passing by them with my photography equipment, when a voice behind me was very interesting for me : let’s me say your fate, I really wanted that woman to say my fortune , I wanted to hear about my future with seen Stars . I spent the night enjoying the happy voices of people outside, chatting with the night watchman, taking pictures and thinking about the future.”
