Star Trails Over the Sciara
Description
From the photographer: “Mount Enta (Unesco World Heritage Site) and the black lava rock, the Sciara, is illuminated by a fire, kindled some meters from the shooting spot. At the same time the Moon was illuminating the sky creating a perfect contrast between cold and warm shades. The volcano’s crater, snow-covered, is visible following the direction of the path among the Sciara just below the north star Polaris, focal point of the star trails.”
Technical details: Stacked sequence of 214 shots, each 15sec with Canon 6d, sigma 14 mm, f2.8, iso 1600.
