Planet Earth, a rotating cradle, a tiny fragile home to billions of life form in the space ocean. During the 20-minute single exposure the sky motion (due to the earth rotation) forms star trails around the south celestial pole in this image of a moonlit night in the Atacama Desert, Chile, with volcanoes on the horizon and the Southern Cross in the sky.
