Southern Cross and Uluru

The southern sky appears above the World Heritage Uluru or the Ayers Rock in Australia. In the sky the Milky Way is framed from Carina to Centaurus. Southern Cross and two bright stars of the Alpha and Beta Centauri are on the left along the Milky Way. Click on the second photo to see another view of the Southern Cross over the Ayers Rock.
