Description

Stars of the Southern Cross over coastline of the Southern Ocean (Antarctic Ocean) in Bruny Island, Tasmania, home of the rare blue penguins. The Southern Cross or Crux is the smallest of the 88 modern constellations, but it is so distinctive that Southern Cross became as a national symbol by several southern nations, as appeared on the flags of countries such as Australia, Brazil, and New Zealand.
