Description

Early summer sky of the Glacier National Park in Montana, northern United States, becomes dark for a very short time before the long lasting twilight returns. This colorful view over the Swiftcurrent Lake has captured the constellation Virgo. The brightest star in the image is in fact planet Saturn in a close conjunction with star Porrima (Gamma Virginis). Click on the second photo to see a slightly different perspective of this view.
