Red Lake Nation Aurora and Star Trails
Description
A photo composite of 79 frames. From the photographer: “The star trails with a lone tree and a little of Aurora Borealis. This are of Red Lake Nation is near a school so the light that is projected to the lone tree is coming from the school and this is facing North so in the process of capturing the star trails I also captured the Aurora Borealis.
Red Lake Nation is a reservation in Northern Minnesota, USA. It is where the Ojibwe Native Americans live. It says that Red Lake is a closed reservation because of its unique status is often referred to as “closed” reservation, the reason is because the land is held in common, few non members live at Red Lake. The Tribe has the right to limit who can visit or live on the reservation. Me and my husband were blessed to visit the place. Sometimes we visit there for the POWOW.”
