Rajasthan Moonlit Night

Full Moon nightscape of Rajasthan, the largest state of India, known as the Land of Kings is home to spectacular historic sites. The two bright stars in the sky are Altair (left) and Vega. In the foreground is Bada Bagh (Big Garden); a garden complex near the city of Jaisalmer. It contains a set of royal cenotaphs, or chhatris of Maharajas (Chhatris are elevated, dome-shaped pavilions; an important element in Indian architecture).
