PanStarrs over the Indian Ocean

Comet PanSTARRS (C/2011 L4) is setting in the evening twilight above Penguin Island, south of Perth, Western Australia. Click on the second photo to see a close-up view of the comet and its two gas and dust tails. Back in the widefield image, in the center left, fainter Comet Lemmon is also visible with a long but faint tail.
