Palouse Falls at Night
Description
From the photographer: “Palouse falls is the remnants of an ancient and cataclysmic flood that swept through the scablands of the northwest United States over 16,000 years ago, carving out much of the modern Columbia and lower Snake river drainage systems. In this image you can see Palouse Falls illuminated by moonlight as star trails sweep through the night sky. This photo was created from 60 images that were stacked to produce star trails.”
