Description

A group of amateur astronomers enjoy the dark night sky in a star party near Heathcote, Victoria, Australia. A more experienced observer is doing a tour to the constellations and celestial wonders. The green laser is pointed to two stars of the Southern Cross during this exposure. Note the large dark nebula known as the Coalsack besides the laser marks. The Small Magellanic Cloud is also captured on the upper right.
