Description

Eclipse of the Moon in the background of Isfahan world-famous Islamic architecture. The foreground monument is Chahar Bagh theological school. As noted by the photographer and the former diector of National Solar Observatory (USA) “I took the image in the early morning of 28 September 2004 from our hotel room in Isfahan just before the beginning of the full lunar eclipse that day. I enjoy experiencing the many different cultures in the human world and wonder about the many different diverging belief systems. The one thing that unifies us all it is the sky, our Moon and our Sun.”
