Moonrise Over Ruegen Bridge

From the photographer: “On June 3, 2023, the nearly full moon (99.9% illuminated) appeared on a very clear evening over the new Rügen Bridge of the Hanseatic city of Stralsund in northern Germany. At a distance of 3.1 kilometers from the photographer, the famous old sailing ship Gorch Fock I was moored in the harbor at the northern pier. At a distance of 370,690 km our moon moved almost close to the earth, which was reached on June 6. The pylon of the bridge measures a height of 128 meters.”
