Moon over Durdle Door
Description
A Notable Photo of the 2014 International Earth & Sky Photo Contest
From the photographer: “Durdle Door is a natural limestone arch near Lulworth in Dorset, England. This long exposure (112 minutes) captures the moon as it arcs over the arch. Truly dark skies are are hard to find in southern England where I live, so I’ve decided instead to try photographing the brightest thing in the night sky at well known or iconic locations.”
