Moon-Mercury Conjunction
Description
From the photographer: “I have always thought that photography is a connection between my emotions and what surrounds me, but by dosing this great energy I have been able to perceive that there is nothing more beautiful than admiring the stars immersed in the wonderful color of twilight. On the morning of 13 May 2021, I positioned myself near the beach of the Minaret in Syracuse. I waited for the Sun to go down to slowly but carefully glimpse the first lights of the stars, Venus then the Moon and finally Mercury.
I wanted to integrate myself into this shot, because I see myself in this life made up of wonders and nature, but what makes me feel good is the connection that there is between me and the Universe. In this image we can observe the conjunction of the Moon and Mercury with Venus as a spectator. Move the slider to see the labels.”
