​Milky Way Over Darss

From the photographer: “This photo was taken at the West Beach of Peninsula Darß (Baltic Sea). The trees in the middleground belongs to a large coast forest, (Darßwald). They are called Windflüchter, because they must adapt as it grows to the strong wind from west. In the background you can see the light pollution from the city Rostock, south from Darß.”
