Description

The Brightest region of the Milky Way in the constellations Scorpius (right) and Sagittarius (center) shines above sand dunes in the Mediterranean coast of Rhodes, a historic island of Greece. The bright star on the upper right is Antares (Alpha star in Scorpius); a red super giant star with diameter of over 800 suns at the distance of 600 light years from us.
