Milky Way and Morning Light

In an early morning of southwestern Turkey, near the Lake Salda (left), as the clouds retreat, the summer Milky Way appear like a false dawn. As noted by the photographer “While I was preparing for this image in that cold winter morning, the real dawn also appeared in the eastern horizon. In the distance, behind the lake, lights from the town of Yesilova were illuminating the clouds.”
