From the photographer: “As you look at this photo, you’re watching thousands of years ago. from 2500 years old “Darius inscription” to stars which their light has been radiated from several hundred to several thousand years ago.

Achaemenians were on of the greatest empires of ancient with a powerful and orderly army which their lands vastness was wide from north of Africa to China. Achaemenian Darius is one of the most famous kings of this empire who engraved the description of important events during his rule on the stone in three ancient languages. This inscription located in 50 meter high of “Bisotun” mountain and registered in UNESCO world heritage list. “Sagittarius” constellation which in ancient Greek known as the God of War is seen at the background.

This is the same sky that people saw thousands of years ago, and the god of war is still in the sky and watching the fall of empires of the world.”
