In a clear moonlit night of September strong aurora activity is captured in this view from Yellowknife in the northern Canada. The image looks north and has captured the three bright stars of the Summer Triangle on the left and the Big Dipper on the right. Click on the second photo to see the dancing shape of aurora in another photo from this location only some minutes apart.
