Description

Winter stars in the northern hemisphere descent to the western horizon in this spring evening view from Hungary. Note bright star Capella and constellation Gemini (the Twins) left of the tower and the W figure of Cassiopeia on the right. As noted by the photographer “This location in Bacony Mountains is a desolate area with a radar tower left from the Russian army when Hungary was occupied. And it’s a bizarre site for night sky photography.”
