Description

Arctic twilight in the World Heritage Site of Denali National Park in Alaska. As noted by the photographer “It was a clear evening and the day was just about to give way to night. The last twilight glow of the already set sun was illuminating the freshly fallen autumn snow on the Alaska Range, with Denali, aka Mt. McKinley, on the left, North America’s tallest mountain, scraping the sky. 20,320 feet of massive rock, forever snow covered, glows in the last night of the day”. Denali National Park, Alaska embodies a unique and spectacular combination of geologic features and ecosystems. The area has been also designated a Biosphere Reserve.
