Description

As the Moon sets in the waters of Baltic Sea, the summer Milky Way emerges in the sky of Gotland, the largest island in the Baltic Sea which was under water for 400 million years. It is made up of a sequence of sedimentary rocks. The limestone rocks with fascinating shapes on the island today are locally called Raukar and many of them are in fact very old coral reefs.
