Goblins Celestial Wonders
Description
The Milky Way from Perseus (bottom) to Cygnus (top) is photographed above the barren landscape of Goblin Valley State Park in Utah. Our neighboring galaxy, M31, known as the Andromeda Galaxy appears like a diffused elongated cloud on the right; home to about a trillion stars some 2.5 million light years away. Near the image top the red cloud is the North America Nebula.
