Full Moon and Approaching Thunderstorm

From the photographer: “This little lake in the Alps provided an ideal foreground for an image of the night sky. To achieve a balanced exposure of both the moonlit sky and the landscape I waited for the clouds to act as ‘natural diffuser’. The approaching thunderstorm in the background added an additional dramatic element to the scene.”
