Description

Every ancient city has one special monument. In Sagalassos, an ancient Pisidian city near Burdur in southwest Turkey, this is the Antonine Nymphaeium; better known as Fountain of Antonins. The restoration of this monument was only finished in 2010, complete with water flowing from a spherical runnel high in the center. In the sky, the Milky Way running from Cassiopeia to Cygnus accompanies the flow of fresh spring water.
