Description

The two images compare the enviroment in various phases of the total solar eclipse of 22th July 2009. As noted by the photographer “The left image is obtained during the partial eclipse showing a normal ambiental illumination while the right image shows the appearance during totality. The small dot shining below the sun is planet Mercury. Both images are made with HDR method using a wide range of exposures taken from Huaying Montain (province of Chonquing, China) at 1500 m above sea level, from Shelios 2009 expedition.”
