Eclipse over the Monolith
Description
The Feb. 2008 total lunar eclipse of the Moon over ancient site of Pierres-plates or flat stones in Locmariaquer, the western tip of the Golfe du Morbihan in Brittany. In this megalithic grave a tall menhir (a large upright standing stone) is located at the entry of the site. As visible in this image the eclipsed Moon is surrounded by stars of Leo. The constellation illustration is composited on the real photo.
