Dormant but Alive

Night sky over Mount Damavand; the highest peak in the Middle East, a spectacular volcano that reaches 5610 meters high. The highest volcano in Asia, its located in the Alborz Mountain Range of Iran close to the capital Tehran. Damavand volcano is considered alive although it has been dormant for many thousands of years.
