Crosses and Full Moon
Description
The moon, about to be fully eclipsed, rises beyond a group of crosses in St. Philippine Duchesne Memorial Park of Kansas. The crosses bear plaques with the names of over 600 Pottawatomie Indians who perished during and shortly after forced relocations from northern Indiana between 1837 and 1840.
