Description

As the clouds from the first winter storm of the season rapidly cleared to the south, the triple conjunction of the Moon, Jupiter and Venus appeared in the southwestern sky at sunset. As noted by the photographer “In fact, with the Moon and Venus as guides, it was possible to glimpse Jupiter with the naked eye just as the sun set! A stark cross at the St. Philippine Duchesne Memorial Park provides warm foreground.”
