Constellations in a Summer Day
Description
From the photographer: “We are in a field of harvested wheat in Sicily on a hot July day. The constellations of the Ursa Major, the Corona Borealis and Boote are setting over the hill on which you can see two farmhouses used by farmers for the cultivation of fields and the breeding of cattle. The stars of the sky were added with artificial spikes during post production whose sole purpose is to make the asterisms of the constellations visible for educational purposes. Move the slider on the image to add/remove constellation lines.”
