Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS from California
Description
From the photographer: “This comet travels fast. We were out on the Big Sur coast today evening to find and photograph the comet after its transit around the Sun. By the time we could spot it and start photographing, the coastal fog rolled in. We made a run for it and drove further South trying to cut the fog off. We were successful only for 2-3 minutes. By the time I could polar align and take the first shot, the fog rolled in again. But not before I took this 10 second photograph of the comet.”
