Comet and Cathedral
Description
Comet McNaught as seen in early evening sky of Hunagry. In January the comet became one of the most spectacular comets witnessed for several decades. It bright appearance started in northern hemisphere sky but close to the sun which made the comet visible only in twilight near the horizon. Its exceptional brightness meant that it was even visible in broad daylight, near the Sun. As its orbit took the comet away from the Sun, the comet emerged out of the evening twilight to present a spectacular view in southern hemisphere which was seen by millions of people.
