Cap de Formentor Night Exposure
Description
The famous Cap de Formentor with the old lighthouse (built in 1860s) is located at the end of land in the north of Mallorca Island, Baleares, Spain. Polaris reaches an altitude of about 40°. Bright moonlight illuminates the rugged rocks at the beginning of the timelapse sequence, made of 94 frames to show earth’s rotation in startrails. Some cars and ships on the Mediterranean Sea make additional light traces.
