Billions of Stars, Billions of Dust

From Sandras Mountain in Turkey, TWAN photographer captured this scene of the Milky Way over the southeastern horizon and the zodiacal light (sunlight reflected from dust in the Solar System plane) over the southwestern horizon. Mount Sandras lies about 120 km south of Denizli, close to the small town of Beyagac. The mountain rises 2294 meters above sea level.
