Description

From the photographer: “The aurora seen during a prominent substorm. The Sleepy Hollow Lighthouse is seen in the frame, which is just about 30min north of New York City, incredible to see this scene so close to NYC. The auroras had a short burst with pillars visible to the naked eyes. The red and green colors could also be barely made out, desaturated but discernable.”
