Astrophotography on Crater Rim

Dawn twilight greets astro-photographers on the rim of Wolfe Creek Meteorite Crater, after a full night of astronomical photography. Highly portable tracking systems are used to track the stars while long time exposure photographs are taken. Other cameras are set on tripods, to record “fixed” or “star trail” images of the night sky.
